Full-time, experienced audiologist for specialty medical practice in Greater Waterbury area.
Candidates will possess the following: Master's Degree or Au.D, 5+ years experience, and a Connecticut Audiology license.
We seek a candidate who possesses excellent communication skills and self motivation to work with our adult and pediatric patients to determine:
- Normal and impaired hearing
- Prevention of hearing loss
- Identification and assessment of hearing problems
- Rehabilitation of persons with hearing disorders
Our audiologists perform a battery of hearing tests, to determine normal or impaired hearing. Test results are discussed with a licensed physician and the audiologists communicate diagnostic test results, and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by their patients.
Responsibilities include: adult and pediatric diagnostic audiometry, hearing aid sales, and hearing aid fittings.
Candidates should have the ability and experience to work independently, use critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care.

Yale Hearing and Balance Center currently has per diem, part-time, full-time faculty openings in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
These positions offer an exciting opportunity to work in a world-renowned medical center providing comprehensive audiologic services. We evaluate and treat patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics with comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation audiologic services. In addition to traditional diagnostics, Yale Hearing and Balance Center provides vestibular and electrophysiologic evaluations (VNG, VEMP, EcoG, and sedated ABR), cochlear implants, BAHA and dispensing hearing aids. We are a diagnostic testing center for newborn hearing screenings in Connecticut and provide services for the Department of Otolaryngology.
