AUDIOLOGIST - Yale Hearing and Balance - New Haven

The Yale Hearing and Balance Center currently has a full-time clinical faculty opening at Yale Hearing and Balance located within the Department of Surgery, Section of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Yale School of Medicine.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a renowned medical center providing comprehensive audiologic services. We are searching for an audiologist to provide clinical care both in New Haven and satellite offices. We evaluate and treat patients of all ages with comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation audiologic services. Yale Hearing and Balance Center provides vestibular and electrophysiologic evaluations (VNG, VEMP, EcoG, ENOG and ABR), cochlear implants, BAHA, tinnitus management and dispensing hearing aids. Additionally, we are a comprehensive diagnostic testing center and provide services for the Department of Otolaryngology.

Job Title: Clinical Audiologist (University Title: Lecturer)

We are seeking an energetic and motivated clinical audiologist with excellent interpersonal skills looking to work in a team environment. Ideal candidates should be willing to learn new skills, assist in the educational development of audiology and medical students and provide outstanding clinical services. An interest in clinical research is preferred.

AUDIOLOGIST - Wallingford

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is a premier 137-bed, specialty hospital located in Wallingford, CT. We provide a continuum of care including inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation and complex medical care. Our programs include spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, ventilator weaning, respiratory management, transitional living, neurological rehabilitation, and hand therapy, amongst others. We are currently seeking a per diem Audiologist to work up to 15 hours per week, varied/flexible hours, with potential for the position to increase to part or full time. Responsibilities include diagnostic hearing evaluations (including immittance and otoacoustic emissions) of pediatrics and adults as well as hearing instrument selection, fitting (including real ear measures); and dispensing for adult outpatients.


  • Master's or AuD Degree in Audiology
  • CT State Audiology License
  • CCC-A/FAAA Certifications

Qualifications: For Audiologists

  • Must have Master s or Doctorate in Audiology degree as required by state of employment
  • Valid Hearing Instrument Dispensing Licensure (in good standing) in state of employment is required
  • Valid Audiology Licensure (in good standing) in state of employment, where required
  • Professional Certifications preferred (CCC-A, FAAA)
  • 3 plus years of experience with diagnostic testing and dispensing hearing aids is preferred
  • Strong problem solving, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required
  • Public speaking experience and training preferred
